Aaron Gobert

Aaron Gobert was born in Australia and imported to the US to become a profesional road racer in 2001. After an impressive 6th place finish in the 2001 AMA Formula Xtreme championship he gained experience over the next few years that led him to the 2004 AMA Superstock title with Yamaha.
Gobert won the 2004 AMA Superstock championship after working his way back to fitness, following injuries from a serious fall at Daytona two years earlier.   Gobert scored six podiums in all, never finishing lower than seventh.  Gobert also finished 6th in 2005 and 8th in 2008 in AMA Supersport.

Gobert, spent the first half of the 2009 season on a Honda CBR1000RR. And now, in the middle of the 2009 season, Gobert arrived to  replace exiting rider, Ben Thompson, on the Factory Aprilia Millennium Technologies AMA Pro Daytona SportBike team.   Gobert  placed 11th in his first event on the Aprilia and the team looks forward to an exciting season finish as a result.
