Any plans this summer? When was the last time you spent 18 months and 17,000 miles on your motorcycle conquering the open road? Enter Clay Enos. Clay is a professional photographer, organic coffee roaster and self-described high-tech hobo, well known for his portraits of celebrity musicians Kid Rock, Dave Matthews, Avril Lavigne, 50 Cent and striking photography on the films The Watchmen and Sucker Punch.  
 
In 2010, Clay Enos went off the grid.  Armed with a Nikon SLR, a point-n-shoot, an iPhone and his state-of-the-art Italian sport-touring motorcycle, the Aprilia Mana GT 850 <http://www.youtube.com/user/TheApriliaUSA#p/u/5/JLJAlQqWbvw> ,  he headed West, exploring America’s most awe-inspiring national parks, vast deserts and everywhere in between. Enos is back to share his incredible volume of photographs from his travels, all taken on his iPhone!
 
The Nikon SLR and his point-n-shoot cameras never left his bag. The iPhone allowed Enos to focus on his purpose rather than overly formal technique. With a few 99 cent apps Enos could bring just enough love to his spontaneous photographs. The results are incredible.

iPhone photo tips
• Composition is key. Remember to use the whole frame, not just the middle
• Explore the scene (take lots of photos then choose the best later)
• Have a vision of the final image but allow for spontaneity
• Keep your apps simple and try not to do what everyone else is doing
• Share them with the world and print some. Photos make great gifts.
• On the road, do your best to get off the interstates, slow down, and listen to your gut and embrace the u-turn.
